Solar Energy

Eco-Friendly Energy
JCC Development & Construction is proud to be a local installer of innovative alternative energy solutions.  Our solar system installation professionals are passionate about the benefits of renewable energy and are highly educated on the most efficient systems available.

Solar Energy
Solar Energy InstallationSolar power is not a new concept, but the technology has evolved tremendously over the years.  Solar power is now a viable energy option for both residential and commercial applications.  Here’s how it works…

  • Strategically located solar panels collect energy that is created by the sun
  • That energy is moved through an energy inverter where the direct currents (DC) that have been collected are converted into usable alternating currents (AC).
  • The AC currents then pass through a production meter that monitors the usable power generated by the system.
  • A net meter that ties into a traditional energy grid measures and records the electricity produced by the solar system that is put onto the grid and the energy pulled from the grid.

Solar Energy
The benefits of solar power versus the risks of pollution have been extensively studied.  Here are just a few of the findings:

  • Today’s solar technology estimates that an average 3-bedroom home on solar power will offset over 80,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide over the course of 15 years.  This equates the emissions of driving 100,000 miles.
  • Electricity is the #1 man-made contributor to global warming.
  • 40% of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions are generated by power plants.
  • 15% of U.S. electricity consumption is residential.
  • The average cost of a complete solar system dropped 27% between 2011-2012.
  • The average price of a solar panel has dropped 60% since the beginning of 2011.

Solar Energy
Solar PanelsJCC is committed to serving our community in every way possible.  This is why we have invested in training and educating our employees to install alternative energy solutions for residential and commercial applications.  Solar energy is one of the most popular alternatives because it is a relatively low-cost way to make use of natural and renewable electricity.  Once the equipment needed to collect and convert the sun’s energy has been purchased and installed, there is no cost to run the system.  Today’s solar systems require little maintenance and can last a lifetime.  Solar systems are also silent.

Solar Energy
Not only can solar customers save money on utility costs, but it helps save the environment from pollution and contributes to savings on national energy independence.  The clean and safe generation of solar power is also an economy-booster.
